DISCOVERY

by: Miguel Sandoval/ Aura Soriano/ Maritza Umaña/ David Vides

The exercise was about discovery and interacting withpeople inside the university. Our professors gave us an intervention place, andit was the central cafeteria of the university, so, we decide to ask forpermission to intervene there and to move the benches and tables so we canrecreate the environment like the market of Antiguo Cuscaltan that we visitbefore, and also change the routine of the university.

So we started to move half of the seats in differentpositions, get candy and balloons, and introduced all the candy inside theballoons and some little bags that we later paste above all the tables.  We also fill the balloons with baby powder torecreate the sensations of the smell and taste. After us preparing the environmentwe begin to annoy people, singing along by their side, celebrating a fictitiousbirthday, in general, making things that made them feel uncomfortable. At theend we discovered that people find it hard to adapt to changing eating indifferent position.

That was really fun, we really enjoyed the activity.
