Visit to La Cuchilla - (intimacy).

Our visit to La Cuchilla, was a very different experience to all of us. At first we were scare and we did not know what to expect. Starting by walking on the side of a very busy highway, followed by entering a kind of hidden place we did not know. But once we got there, everything changed, people were very welcoming and nice. Once we started walking into the community, it was really breeze and quiet, you could not hear the noise from the cars on the outside. We learned they are a very tight community, they all know each other and are friendly to each other, they have little stores where they tortillas and other things. They also have their own water and light service and a small soccer field, where some of the girls from the community and from our class played a friendly match. After all, they live a very happy and normal life in the middle of the City, where no one really see them or pay attention to them, hoping one day the piece of land where they built their houses can be theirs.
