What do you think of yourself acting in a public space?
I think acting like most users, I felt insecure being alone and not as it should enjoy public spaces, use them only when needed, or rather quickly transited by the same insecurity I felt, but all that changed, in this workshop that happened, I realized the dynamics that take place in public spaces, creating interesting interactions between users, the importance of these dynamics for the city, because these are the ones that vitalize our cities. I think now I will enjoy and live public spaces as an observer and actor, and not just a bystander.
What do you think "the Salvadorian" attitude in a public space?
In my opinion the attitude of Salvadorans in public places is limited, people use the spaces as places of passage, and not as places to enjoy them, I think people feel like outsiders and strangers in these places, I consider that a most influential factor in the abandonment of public space is the safety of the city, causing loss of vitality of the city, because these spaces are associated as dangerous places and places of attacks by limiting the feeling of freedom and the feeling to be part of the public space.
