… What is it?
It was essential to discover what the difference between formal and informal was. For this, as a group we studied the qualities and faults that had the place, setting keywords such as correct, particular use, predictable, etc. for the formal term and contrast, improvisation, necessity, disorder, etc. for the informal term.
The first perception I had about the place was that, it was an informal site because I saw a variety of adverse conditions that do not caused a good impress, but it was evident that improvisation was a participant in the place, making this a space that could satisfy the needs of people with limited resources.
However, from the second site visit, concluded that “formal” word is often tied to appearance, but if you interact with people and the place, by putting away from the fears that often one has with respect to space you can only find a place as any, with the necessary features to meet our needs just with a more natural, simple and even economic.
