(In)formality has been an interesting concept for my group and me, because from my point of view, we have selected a site that closely resembles the word (in)formality and I can interpret it as something that can be informal but also formal. Since seeing the place, the first impression of the place is a messy place, and surely if it were not for this activity, maybe I wouldn't have gone to that place. But returning to the concept the word formality, despite the rather informal appearance becomes formal for those who make use of that space is taken as something common, normal, regular, you know where to go and what to eat, they identify with the place. If we ask them if they think that place is informal, the answer would be no, since it has the necessary space for eating, has a shadow, otherwise the plaza Guatemala (in front of our place) it says formal, but amazingly no one makes use of that space. With this activity, to frequent the place, I felt comfortable, because the unknown is left behind, and you see the place with another look at that leaving behind the appearance of the place, and I realized the atmosphere is generated and the experience can be the same in a formal place.
