Well, my behaving or acting against public space is like what it is, it's PUBLIC, and it doesn't matter if it's on the street, on a highway or on a sidewalk, it's part of me but also of everybody. The sidewalks, nice to walk, to eat, to jump at a low pace, like a photograph, living every moment with every step. The streets, nice to play soccer, crazy to cross them, exciting to drive them. Plazas, a place of join, of unity and comunion, full of thoughts and memories. In conclusion, public space is a world where we live.
According to the second question, salvadorean people behave in different ways. Some people that go by car don't enjoy the travel to their office, school or house, they only go thinking of their troubles. People in small neighborhoods, like that we call "barrios" are quite different from the ones called "turf", because they USE the public space, they ENJOY living there. Maybe is our culture, but I think that salvadoreans are special, we use the public space in different ways, breaking the monotony, and that's the problem when we don't have a park or a plaza or that we live in a high density neighborhood, so we cannot enjoy the public space causing us to be high temper people, violent, lacking of love to each other.
