a / What is my own attitude to public space?
Actually I think everyone (myself included) do not value such public spaces as they are. We do the public spaces, with the simple fact that we gathered a small group of people began to create it without realizing it. They are little things that make these spaces are noticed. This is what we saw with the little exercises we do in the urban workshop: eating at unusual places , enjoyed walking in the streets, doing new things in places we frequent every day and bringing warmth to the people least expected or wanted.
My attitude towards the public spaces before have these experiences was indifference and
my preference was to go indoors and acquaintances, but now will be to explore new places and everyday activities in unexpected places and in this form, perhaps, make sense of these spaces of the city, because we are the ones who make the city by participating on this spaces. Making simple things we can produce AWESOME things. We just have to keep it simple and be ourselves.
b / What you think is the attitude of the Salvadoran / versus Public Space?
I think sometimes the Salvadoran population is not known to be a "Public spaces" or if they do they don´t use it because fear of crime by the reality in which we live. It is difficult to remove people this culture of fear to society but I think with this type of intervention on public spaces can start to
generate in them a sense of security and social peace.
